They strode up and lit up Sheffield’s streets… and raised almost £2,000 for our care.
A team from Lloyds Banking Group’s Mortgaging Services, based in Furnival Gate in Sheffield, joined one thousand walkers talking part in the first ever St Luke's Night Strider walking event.
And together 'Daz’s Dazzling Lights' raised more than £1,800 in memory of patient Darren Sanderson, whose wife Clare works in the Mortgaging Services team.
Helping to boost the final total even further, the group also held their own Dress Down Day at the office.
“So many people supported the Night Strider and, like Daz’s Dazzling Lights, helped to make the event an enormous success which to date has raised more than £100,000 for St Luke’s,” said St Luke's Corporate Fundraising Manager Joasia Lesniak.
“We rely on the public to raise more than £5 million annually and the enthusiasm of teams like Lloyd’s Banking Group really does make an enormous difference to the lives of all our patients and their families.”
