Our Broomhill Vintage Shop announces move to bigger location
Our beloved Broomhill Vintage shop is relocating to a bigger, better home just around the corner at 218 Fulwood Road, following ten successful years at the heart of the community.
The new store will officially open its doors at 10am on Wednesday 22 July, with the public invited to be part of the opening day celebrations.
The shop has become a firm favourite with locals and treasure-hunters across Sheffield looking for their next unique and sustainable find. Continued growth has prompted the move, with the new premises offering more space to showcase carefully curated vintage pieces, increase stock, and keep even more items out of landfill.
From rare vinyl to vintage Liberty prints donated by chance, the Broomhill Vintage Shop has seen it all. The new Fulwood Road location will give shoppers even more room to browse and discover Sheffield’s next great vintage find.
Jo Lenton, St Luke’s Chief Executive and Chief Nurse, is looking forward to opening the new store later this month and welcoming both loyal customers and new visitors from the Broomhill community.
“We’re delighted to announce our new Broomhill Vintage Shop - which is a real step up for Sheffield’s eco‑conscious shoppers and vintage hunters,” she said.
“Since we first opened our doors back in 2016, this shop has become a staple for local vintage lovers and sustainable shoppers. As St Luke’s celebrates its 55th year of providing care across Sheffield, expanding this incredibly popular shop is the perfect way to look to the future,” she continued.
“A bigger, brighter space means we can showcase even more unique finds, while raising the vital funds needed to ensure our hospice care is here for the next 55 years and beyond."
Every item donated and every purchase made in St Luke’s charity shops generates around £4 million each year, helping to keep hospice care and support free for patients and families across Sheffield when they need it most.
The shop will relocate from its current premises and reopen at 218 Fulwood Road, Sheffield, S10 3BB (former PDSA unit) at 10am on Wednesday 22 July.
55 years of care
As we mark our 55th year, we’re choosing to speak more openly and confidently about the importance of hospice care - what it really is, why it matters, and the difference it makes to families every single day.
For 55 years, St Luke’s has been part of Sheffield’s story. We’ve supported thousands of people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, offering expert care that brings comfort, dignity and choice when it matters most.
This anniversary isn’t about looking back. It’s about making sure this care is still here for the next generation.
