2026 Club Captain, Clive Downing will be hosting a Shotgun competition at Hillsborough Golf Club this July, all to raise vital funds for two charities close to his heart. Money raised will be shared between St Luke’s - who cared for his daughter, Faye, at the end of her life - and Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of his wife, Jayne.

The Charity Golf Day is shaping up to be a standout event in the club calendar, bringing golfers together for a full round of competition followed by food, entertainment and an auction. With prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters, the day will combine friendly rivalry on the fairways with a shared determination to raise vital funds for local causes.
