CITY Taxis is supporting St Luke’s as it continues a major charity fundraising programme throughout May.
The company has already donated more than £17,000 to NHS staff by giving delivery fees from its CityGrab app to supporting frontline medical teams throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
CityGrab is the new multi-delivery app that enables people to order local food and products for delivery to their homes by City Taxis.
The 31 Days in May campaign will see each weekend of the month dedicated to supporting more local charities, with St Luke’s being the designated cause from 6pm Friday May 22 to 6am Monday May 25.
Our Head of Fundraising Joasia Lesniak commented: “Thank you so much to CityGrab for choosing to support St Luke’s in this incredible way.
“Now more than ever, we need the support of our Community to ensure we can continue caring for the people of Sheffield when they need it most.
“At St Luke’s, we understand how important food is and think CityGrab are offering a truly unique service, bringing Sheffield people and Sheffield businesses together at a difficult time.”
