WALKING, dressing up and all manner of fundraising craziness…it all adds up to a £5,000 hit for Sheffield accountancy firm Shorts.
Shorts Chartered Accountants were among the companies taking part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2019, which this year was raising money for St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice.
And a team headed by Marketing Manager Jo Grant raised a final total of £4,928.88 with a host of activities including a hospice to hospice walk, a staff summer social and a staff dress up day.
“This is the first year that Shorts has taken part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge and we are really proud of the amount we managed to raise,” said Jo.
“We really enjoyed taking part in the challenge - the team came up with some really interesting and fun ideas over the course of the summer, and it was great to support these two local charities.”
Our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder commented: “This was a fantastic effort and Jo and her team really did put so much enthusiasm into coming up with some really lucrative fundraising ideas.
“Their enthusiasm will make a massive difference to the lives of hospice patients in both Sheffield and Rotherham.”
