Has someone important to you died of or been diagnosed with an illness with no cure?
Dealing with the loss of someone important to you is one of the hardest things to experience in life. But you’re not on your own.
Time for You is a series of sessions and workshops run by the Brathay Trust to support young people aged 10-16 affected by the death or knowledge that someone important to them is dying from an incurable illness.
This fun and interactive programme of creative therapies and outdoor activities aims to improve the confidence and self-esteem of young people, as well as the development of aspirations, coping strategies and positive peer relationships.
Activities include:
- Making time capsules
- Drawing
- Baking
- Photography
- Film making
- Away days
The sessions are free and are held Saturday mornings 10.00am-12.00pm at St Luke's, S11 9NE.
