Sarah’s big day gives Master Cutler's Challenge a Mexican wave!
The Master Cutler’s Challenge is going global… thanks to South Yorkshire solicitor Sarah Hartley.
Sarah, who is Head of the Wills, Trusts & Probate and the Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Departments at law firm Malcom C Foy & Co in Rotherham recently jetted off to Mexico to get married.
But even on her big day, she still found time to promote major annual charity extravaganza the Master Cutler’s Challenge.
More than 500 teams have taken part in the challenge since its launch in 2008, raising in excess of £1million for a range of charities.
This year, Master Cutler Craig McKay has chosen to support St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice, with more than 130 companies across the region pledging to turn a £50 stake into as much cash as possible.
Sarah took a break from her wedding celebrations top help spread the word and encourage guests to give generously to the campaign.
“I am so excited that the team at Malcolm C Foy & Co are involved in the Master Cutler’s Challenge for the first time, and my wedding day seemed the perfect opportunity to remind everyone that, despite our busy lives, we can all spare a little time or money to help support such a fantastic cause,” said Sarah.
