St Luke’s Donation Centre Open Day

Jump to register now form

Are you interested in finding out more about our Donation Centre? Our Volunteer team are inviting you to register your interest for our first ever Donation Centre Open Day on Wednesday 17 November 2021. A chance to meet the team, chat to our volunteers, have a tour of our centre and ask us questions about the exciting roles available.

The majority of our shops do not have a lot of space to store donations, so our new Donation Centre, based in Sheffield S4, is our central hub and a vital resource to enable us to retain more stock, recycle items to generate income and help us continue to be there for Sheffield people when they need us most.

We have many different roles available such as:

  • Sorting Assistants
  • Donations Meet & Greet Assistants and
  • Warehouse Assistants

You would be helping us to process donations ready to send out to our shops for sale, accepting donations from the public, helping us load up our vans, moving stock and making sure sorters have enough stock to process. No previous experience is needed and full training will be provided, in all aspects of the role, including health and safety, and all government COVID protocols.

Whether you've volunteered before or are completely new to volunteering, this session has something for everyone, so come along and meet our friendly team.

Sign-up for this event will close on Tuesday 16 November at 12pm. After then, we will send you more information on arranging your session to your email address.
